For those who may not yet know, we have a change to our opening times. From next week, the stylists don’t work on Mondays. Our stylists will work Tuesday – Saturday.
The salon telephone lines will be open on a Monday 8.30 – 12, emails will be addressed and then a messaging service and our online bookings will take over for the rest of the day until Tuesday when we open at 8.30 am.
You can talk to your stylist about how their working week has changed or book your appointments when you are next in.

We are pleased to offer various products as part of our brand new exclusive range. As you can expect, we have all the classic hair products, but here are some items you may not know we sell. They will be available to buy online soon but for the moment please buy in the salon or over the phone and we can post them out (P&P charge applies).
Age-erasing soothing eye primer. Utilising smoothing elastomers the effects are immediate. Apply a very small amount of the primer and leave it a couple of minutes to take effect. You will see fine lines disappear! The product is virtually invisible and can be used with or without makeup. £16
As with the eye primer above we also offer an Age-erasing soothing facial primer for £16 which offers the same benefits.
Hair Shine Spray: You can deepen and enhance the radiance and shine of your hair with this finishing product which is sprayed onto dry hair as required. £13.50
X10 Maximum Volume Spray: Superb conditioning leave in volumising and styling spray which enhances the strength and thickness of each individual hair, enabling lift, body and hold. £13.50
Have you tried our gorgeous Argan hand soap and Argan hand cream? If not please do when you are next in. They make lovely gifts. The hand cream is £12 and the soap is £13. We also offer a mini hand cream for just £5.
Previously called Kerastraight
A hair treatment that helps those with unruly hair, making it easier to manage and is perfect if you are travelling somewhere humid as it helps to keep it calm. If someone has wavy or curly hair, the curl remains but becomes defined and less frizzy. All of our team have had advanced training on this smoothing hair treatment. Please speak to us about this semi-permanent treatment that lasts up to four months if you are interested.
We are sad to say that Wella are making yet another colour price increase in September. As always we will introduce as small an increase as we can. On a positive note we will offer all colour clients a complimentary conditioning or strengthening treatment after each service from 1 September. This will strengthen and add moisture to your hair after your colour, replenishing any lost strength and condition and helping lock your colour in.
Nik (salon owner for new Newsletter readers) has broken her shoulder and will be out of action for a little while. She was in the salon most days last week and has focused on development and research while she can’t cut hair. She had her operation today and is now resting (we hope), after which she will start physio and recovery.
All clients are being moved to other stylists while she cannot cut hair. Nik has been involved in this process of matching clients with stylists but please feel free to get in touch with any queries or concerns. Nik can’t wait to be back in cutting hair!
The results can last 9-18 months, depending on different factors such as skin type, sun exposure and chemicals in creams and beauty products applied to the skin. The service is done on a Sunday while the hairdressing salon is closed to ensure a quiet and relaxing environment.
