I am pleased to report that our team are all keeping well and eager to get back to work!
As you may know, we are working hard preparing for reopening on 4 July (assuming the government is still happy with this date).
I want to let you know how our plans are progressing and what we are doing to keep clients safe and what will be required when you visit us.
When we reopen our opening times will be different and staff will be working shift patterns. This enables staff with children to work around childcare and it enables us to open in evenings and seven days a week when required. We are doing our best to ensure staff work similar days as before to suit clients. Our new working shift patterns also ensure we have sufficient time to clean work stations between client appointments.
There are, of course, social distance rules to adhere to which means we are no longer allowed to offer a waiting area and clients are no longer able to bring a child with them or have a partner come in during the appointment.
When you next visit us we will have to ask you to bring your own bag for your coat, gloves and face covering (mask). If you like to read during your appointment we also ask you to bring your own reading material. We are allowed to offer water and it will be served in a disposal cup. Sadly, for the moment, we are no longer able to offer any other refreshments.
We appreciate that these are strange times. It’s a learning curve for us all.
Please be assured that as soon as we get the green light to reopen our online booking facility, sometime prior to 4 July, we will notify everyone online, through this email system and via social media. Prior to this, we will do our utmost to contact clients who had appointments cancelled to try and book them in. When we contact you about your next appointment if you are booking in for colour and have coloured your own hair at home please let us know so we can arrange a skin test.
Finally, thank you for your continued support for our staff and salon. We are really looking forward to seeing you all soon.
