Wow Feb already and the lighter nights are coming.!
What a busy Jan / Feb we are having. We have just had our new Daniel Gray Hair & Beauty Awards for 2018. We had some well-deserved winners and long-standing awards given to Sarah, Bex, Ailsa and Fiona, their dedication to the company has just being outstanding and I’m sure you will agree their standard of work and client care are always of the highest standard. They are a pleasure to have on the team.
Other awards given on merit of work and performance. what a great team of Stylists, beauticians, assistants, receptionist and behind the scene staff we have.!
We have also been developing and training our colour skills again to improve our services and keep moving with the times.
We will be working on key trends Thursday 7th Feb. and the stylists will be unavailable for appointments while we close for 2 hours of training, our beauty team will be available for appointments.
We will be having a slight price increase on our colours due to manufacturer annual price increase.
Adam is busy getting his model ready for a photo shoot in Manchester. Pete his model is just the fresh face we need to add to our website showing off his cut and colour and a possible entry into a competition this year. we are very excited to see the end result.
Valentine’s day 14th Feb we have Redken coming in for advanced product training to keep all out staff with the up to date knowledge of the products we use to support your hair. We have half term coming up and a few off our stylists are off, so appointments may be harder to book, don’t leave it too late.
Elanor will be leaving to go on maternity Saturday 9 th March, so she will have limited spaces left. she will be delighted to pass her clients onto to selected stylist whom she thinks will suit and we have Racheal joining the team to support her column too.
Hiring – we are also losing Tash, our part time receptionist for the next 10-12 months and are looking for a temporary cover. The hours will be Wednesday 8.30-4pm, Thursday 12-8pm, Every 5th Saturday and extra hours to cover holidays with notice. interviews begin in February.

- Ongoing training for all team members
- Assistants have gone into branded tops and the beauticians will soon be following.
