January 2022 Newsletter

We are so happy to be open after a worrying December with the threat of lockdown.

Can my team and I take this moment to thank you all for continuing to support us through the last 18 months. Through these difficult times. We are forever grateful.

Jacquie has begun the year with a bang and is in full swing with her microblading. She continues to offer this service on a Sunday on a one-to-one basis. Read more below.

5* Google Review from the end of December
“Exactly what I have come to expect over the many years I have placed my hair in the hands of Daniel Gray. Excellent service and very talented, professional and friendly staff.”

Annual Awards

We held our Annual Awards last week. Rebecca (marketing) helped me collect data and work on the presentation. It reminds us all of our 2021 journeys as well as helps me to share my vision for the future.

It was a fantastic night bringing everyone together. The team all got presented with their branded hoodies and they have been worn a lot since last Friday which is a good sign.

Covid Rules

From Thursday 27 January we will stop wearing masks as standard.

We will have them in the salon and our team are happy to wear them if asked by a client for an appointment or consultation.

Microblading

Jacquie has begun the year with a bang and is in full swing with her microblading. She continues to offer this service on a Sunday on a one-to-one basis. She is currently booked up until April!

The best way to think of Microblading is to think of it as a delicate tattoo style technique. We say delicate as gentle strokes are done by hand to ensure they look like fine eyebrow hairs. It is a semi-permanent beauty treatment. It is a none-machine method which means Jacquie uses a very fine blade made up of 7-21 tiny, fine needles. A numbing cream is used to ensure the client is comfortable. This white cream can be seen in some of the before and after pictures around the brows. It disappears shortly after the treatment.

As with all eyebrow styling, there is a choice of colour and shape which Jacquie, our beautician, discusses with the client. Results can last for up to 18 months.

Helpful for people who suffer from alopecia or other conditions that cause hair loss.

Microblading is done on a Sunday to ensure a calm and private environment. We advise allowing around three hours.

This service costs £250 which includes a six-week consultation and a top-up which allows Jacquie to do any slight adjustments like going darker or making the brows fuller.

If you are interested and have questions please feel free to contact the salon and we can arrange for Jacquie to chat with you.

Microblading before, after the first appointment, and then after the top-up (as mentioned above)

TRAINEES

The trainees are back at college and have resumed their salon training. The up-and-coming DG team are a dream.
