Tasha, one of our salon coordinators, has spent time chatting with Nic about what we offer for clients and friends going through treatment for cancer. She says:
Some women when they get diagnosed with cancer don’t know where to turn. According to research, 47% of women consider hair thinning and loss to be the most traumatic aspect of some treatments.
We want you to know we are here for you.
Whether it is you, a family member or a friend we can guide you through what may happen, give advice and recommend hair or scalp treatments. You can grieve for the things you lose to cancer and hair is one of them, but with more information about the process, we believe we can help you feel more in control of the situation.
Our experts can offer advice, before, during and after treatment.
We think you should feel comfortable and relaxed so if you prefer to come to the salon at a quieter time, we will always try to accommodate your wishes.
We offer the option of a complimentary shorter haircut before treatment. Based on our experience we have found this helps our clients with the transition. After treatment and when you are ready, we can give you the right advice on what to do next as well as expert advice on colouring, strengthening and promoting growth.
If you or someone you know is having therapy for cancer, it can be daunting, stressful and upsetting, and it is essential to have the right support during this time.
If you would like to book in for a chat with us, then please call the salon on 01539 729933 or email info@danielgray.co.uk
