TEAM NEWS
The last week prior to lockdown we had just completed our latest training which was a hair infill course and we look forward to sharing this new exciting product with you.
When we return, we are offering our clients the chance to transform their hair by adding either length, fullness or to fill in gaps where hair is sparse. This is an excellent addition for clients needing volume too. When we are back in action please ask for a complimentary consultation if this is something of interest to you.
With our new range of hair extensions, you can choose from volume and length to colour and trends. We can create a thicker, more voluminous look for you or use them to add colour without compromising the integrity of your hair through dye.
BEAUTY
Jacquie our beautician has completed another nail course – The Gel Bottle.
This amazing product range can help your nails stay protected and still grow. The gels can be soaked off easily or can be kept on with an infill appointment. The gel is highly pigmented, chip-resistant, has a long-lasting shine and even better is is both vegan and cruelty-free.
Jacquie is keeping herself occupied at home practising her nail art skills which we think are fantastic!

KEEPING GOING
Nik has been busy with the salon behind the scenes planning, supporting the staff and having weekly meetings through a group video conference call. The team are all great, enjoying some family time but ready to return to see you all.
She has also signed up as a responder to the NHS with her husband and sons to help in any way they can.

Our online shop is being updated and a lot of our standard products are not yet showing but are available to buy and we are happy to post them out. Our next dispatch day is tomorrow – Saturday. Online Booking – we are encouraging clients to download the app or book future appointments ahead if possible. This is tricky as we still have no date to re-open but we have seen some eager clients already booking for late summer and going into autumn/winter We will be doing extra hours and days to accommodate as many appointments as we can.

NHS SUPPORT – WE ARE SAYING THANK YOU
The team have volunteered to cut NHS doctors and nurses hair with our compliments on the first Sunday we can after lockdown to say thank you. Jacquie has also offered her beauty services. The salon Super Sunday has had lots of positive comments through our social media and we were thrilled to see that The Westmorland Gazette and Cumbria Crack got involved with our story. A feel-good factor for us all in this very strange time.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR HAIR
We appreciate that there are lots of you who are keen to find out what options you have available to maintain your hair currently.
Home colour is available in many shops but we are sorry to say we don’t advise colouring at home. We wish we could as we know so many of you are keen to resolve your hair concerns but many of you have spent money investing in getting your hair to look as you like it and home colour puts this at risk. Lightening hair at home is particularly tricky as it can lead to hair snapping. We are sorry to say we are not insured to sell our colour as it is a professional range and requires many hours of training to be able to use it.
Although we know it is hard we would advise using this time to let your hair improve in condition. By not using a hairdryer, straighteners, curling irons etc during this time you may find your hair improves. Why not use this downtime to apply a weekly hair treatment?
If you have grey roots why not buy a spray on / pen colour to cover them? These are harmless and wash out. We have sold a few on our website. They are available to buy from our online shop here.
If you must trim your hair we would advise just a little from a fringe or the sides or back.
